The Toxicology section is expanding the number of drugs that are
confirmed, as new drugs are found. The Toxicology section confirms
prescription drugs as well as controlled substances. All toxicology cases
are reported to the Illinois Department of Health. This department compiles
data from the entire state for DUI cases.
